I am a school based Speech Language Pathologist and work in a Middle School in Colorado. I really love what I do but also look forward to my off time as well. So, when I am “clocked out” of work I love exploring and traveling.

I have spent a lot of my clocked out time here in Colorado – its a beautiful state and there are areas of the state I have yet to explore. My children are now adults and I have found more time to plan trips to other states and beyond. I started this blog so I can document all the wonderful places I get to visit and hopefully help inspire and assist my friends and family (YOU) with itineraries to help plan their next adventure.

I truly believe that you don’t have to have a lot of money in the bank to plan a fantastic vacation (remember I work for a school district). Sometimes the best vacations are right in your backyard. Sometimes you can splurge a little, find deals (I LOVE a good deal) and do a lot of the legwork yourself to fit the love of travel into your budget.
